PRIORITIES
Continued CTE Expansion

Angie Redford believes every student should have the tools to succeed; whether that’s college, the military, or directly into a good-paying career. That’s why she’s been a strong supporter of expanding Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs in West Ada schools.
These programs provide hands-on training in fields like health sciences, technology, skilled trades, and business; helping students graduate with both a diploma and valuable real-world skills.
Under Angie’s leadership, West Ada has made strides in:
Partnering with local businesses to connect students with internships and apprenticeships.
Expanding course offerings in areas like welding, healthcare, and information technology.
Supporting pathways that keep kids engaged, motivated, and workforce‑ready.
Angie will continue to push for greater access to CTE programs so that every student in West Ada can graduate prepared for success, no matter which path they choose.

Fiscal Responsibility
Angie Redford knows every tax dollar matters. As a school board trustee, she has worked to ensure West Ada stays financially strong, accountable, and efficient; even as our community experiences record growth.
Her focus has been simple:
Keep budgets transparent so families and taxpayers always know where their money is going.
Prioritize classrooms first making sure funds support teachers, students, and real learning, not bureaucracy.
Plan for growth wisely so new schools and expansions are built on time and on budget.
Protect taxpayers by avoiding wasteful spending and keeping West Ada schools solvent.
Angie understands that fiscal responsibility isn’t just about saving money, it’s about stewardship. It’s about ensuring that every child benefits from strong schools while families know their hard-earned tax dollars are being respected.
Academic Excellence for Every Student
Angie Redford believes schools must return to the basics; ensuring every child can read, write, and do math at grade level, while also preparing students for the path they choose after graduation.
As a West Ada trustee, Angie has championed:
High standards in reading and math to build a strong foundation.
Classroom accountability so teachers, students, and parents all stay focused on results.
Support for great teachers who inspire students every day.
Expanding learning opportunities, from honors courses to CTE training, to keep every student challenged and engaged.
For Angie, academic excellence means parents can trust their children are learning what matters most: the skills and knowledge they need for life.

Parents Deserve a Voice in Education
As a mom and community leader, Angie Redford knows that parents are a child’s first and most important teachers. That’s why she has championed policies that ensure parents have a strong voice in decisions about West Ada schools.

Her leadership has focused on:
Planning wisely for new schools and facilities so students have the space they need to learn.
Preventing overcrowded classrooms that make it harder for students and teachers.
Keeping budgets on track while expanding capacity.
Partnering with the community to make sure growth is managed responsibly and transparently.
For Angie, responsible growth management means that West Ada remains one of the best places in Idaho to raise a family and educate a child.
